Overall Expectations

We are looking for qualified sales professionals interested in growing with our business and contributing to our knowledge. The Business Development Officer (“BDO”) is our first point of contact with potential clients and a valuable member of the team. As a BDO your primarily responsibility will be to reach out to potential customers to develop new business opportunities. You will walk clients through the factoring process while negotiating conditions and addressing any concerns the clients might have through initial funding. It is imperative that the BDO understand the competitive market and how we can succeed as a team. Teamwork between you and the operations department is required for the success of our clients and our company. We want to build long lasting relationships between our BDO’s and our clients to support future growth, provide best-in-class service, support client retention, and encourage referrals. The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic and focused professional, who has demonstrated continued growth and success in their career:


✔️ Launch sales campaigns and contact prospective clients to generate sales volume.
✔️ Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business opportunities.
✔️ Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
✔️ Contact prospects in your assigned market or area to ensure a robust pipeline.
✔️ Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs and concerns.
✔️ Lead the structure, presentation, pricing, and negotiation of our services to
✔️ Apply effective sales skills and overcome objections by clarifying, emphasizing
agreements and working through client questions to achieve a positive conclusion.
✔️ Present new products and services and enhance existing client relationships.
✔️ Coordinate documentation and closing through funding of prospective transactions.
✔️ Represent the Company with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of
customer service in all interactions.
✔️ Consistently meet volume and closing objectives as agreed upon with management.
✔️ Work with operational staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
✔️ Build relationships with applicable referral sources (Bankers, CPA’s, Brokers, Assoc’s).
✔️ Work with referral sources and customers to sell various Quickpay funding options.
✔️ Team up and collaborate with Client Services to offer outstanding customer service.
✔️ Record all prospect information via company’s customer relationship software.
✔️ Maintain a pipeline of prospects that meet the company’s risk and return objectives.
✔️ Build Quickpay Funding’s positive brand awareness with clients and referral sources.
✔️ Perform related assignments or special projects as requested by management.

Professional Requirements

✔️ 100% Bilingual in English & Spanish absolutely required for all BDO Candidates.
✔️ College/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred but is not required.
✔️ Minimum of 2 of verifiable work history. Experience in AR lending, Factoring, SBA, Transportation, Customs, Produce Brokerage, Marine Industry or Leasing is preferred.
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills. You need to be able to communicate, build relationships, gain trust and effectively work with referral sources and clients.
✔️ Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills. High volume of phone calls.
✔️ Able to work effectively with a wide range of entrepreneurs & business professionals.
✔️ Working knowledge of Salesforce and Account Receivables systems is a big plus.
✔️ Able to think strategically, identify new business opportunities, and solve problems.
✔️ Must possess time management, planning and organizational skills.
✔️ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
