Overall Expectations

The Account Executive’s primary role is to provide excellent client service while balancing portfolio risk and expectations. Responsible for invoice auditing, processing, and client account management in the factoring division. Build excellent working relationships with assigned clients in their portfolio that will generate additional referral business and increase client retention. The AE will work as a team with other company departments including sales and underwriting to bring in new accounts, board them, and take them through the factoring process at Quickpay Funding. All Account Executives are expected to manage their client’s purchases for risk and control. You will be required to manage your client’s funding exposures and participate in regular portfolio reviews.


✔️ Provide excellent client service while balancing portfolio risk and expectations.
✔ Assist in prospect application review, due diligence and procedures underwriting.
✔ Assist in the review of new prospect packages, documentation, and initial boarding.
✔ Perform Invoice verifications and audit paperwork/collateral during client fundings.
✔ Manage reserves accounts, report concerns regarding status of reserve balances as
it pertains to risk on accounts receivable aging.
✔ Manage accounts receivable aging. Perform collection calls per policy as needed.
✔ Monitor tax payments and other client compliance events as required per account.
✔ Communicate with the Portfolio Manager/Account Executive Lead on all matters
pertinent to the management of the client accounts in factoring unit.
✔ Keep Portfolio Manager/Account Executive Lead informed about business activities,
performance, opportunities, and recommend courses of action.
✔ Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
✔ Become familiar with client’s business practices, preferences and challenges. This may include client visits in certain cases and/or travel to client’s location.
✔ Make sound purchasing decisions based on educated risk assessments (Debtor, Client, Shipper, Bond Company, Commodity, Industry Laws, etc.)
✔ Communicate the benefits and advantages of our services to prospective clients as well as referral sources. Study publications and attend functions to gain further knowledge of industry and stay informed on key business trend and competitors.
✔ Diligently document client contact and account issues in client notes for auditing, verification, and reference on future purchases.
✔ Cross-sell our products to new and existing accounts, including fuel advances.

Professional Requirements

✔ The ideal candidate should have at least an associate’s degree or a minimum of two years of prior experience managing client relationships in a financial environment, preferably in factoring, small business lending, banking, leasing, or trade finance.
✔ Industry exposure can include transportation, maritime, produce, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, services, energy – including oil, solar, gas, and electric – cross border with Mexico and Latin America, and Trade Finance.
✔ This person should have a sound understanding of the factoring industry and Account Receivables financing.
✔ We market and sell to a predominantly Spanish speaking clientele. This requires the ideal candidate to be 100% bilingual in English and Spanish.
✔ It is necessary that this person display excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple urgent tasks under tight deadlines.
✔ Computer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred (Microsoft Office Suite of Products).
✔ Positive attitudes are a big plus in our business environment!
